03/23/17 Yellowfin Tuna Crudo at Michael's Genuine Food and Drink in Miami, FL. I love it when I find a dish that I have to immediately run back (i.e. order again) because I just HAVE to experience the flavors again before leaving the establishment. That was the case here with this incredibly delicious crudo. The super fresh yellowfin comes mixed with blood orange (a dark red orange fruit), fennel, and calabrian chile (a medium spicy Italian red chile pepper). The citrus/tangy flavor of the blood orange mixed with the spice of the chile pepper accompanied by bits of fennel gave it such a unique flavor. This ranks right up there with all the different types and variations of crudo that I've had over the years.
