Never have I had a meal at Butcher and Bee that I did not whole-heartedly enjoy. This particular meal, again did not disappoint. Butcher & Bee takes flavors to another level and their cohesive menu makes it possible to order any combination of dishes and they complement each other in a way you didn't know was feasible.
We enjoyed the entire meal, starting with Falafel Meze and the phenomenal Whipped Feta & fermented Honey and then Lamb Tartare- all were great. Our "entree" (pictured above) was the spicy Squid Ink Tagliatelle (recommend by our server) and the seasonal Winter Greens. They worked together so well in that the spiciness of the pilpelchuma was accented by the acidity in the kale salad and pickled raisins. It was one of those meals where every flavor profile was elevated and they were working together to create magic. Everything on the plate had flavorful purpose.
We also enjoyed a Chocolate Mousse dessert crafted by James Beard nominee Cynthia Wong.
If you have not tried Butcher & Bee I strongly suggest you do so immediately. (There's even one in Nashville)!
