We were so hungry that I forgot to snap a picture of the whole wood-fired pie so my slice & salad will have to do but the whole pie was gorgeous.
Drake’s pizzas are New Haven-style thin crust & slightly charred. The Uptown is double smoked bacon, Italian sausage & mozzarella. The sauce is tangy but not over powering.
Drake’s is an old car dealership turned hip open-air beer garden with fire pits, music & food. The vibes is as awesome as the food & drink. It’s a must if you find yourself in Uptown Oakland this is the spot you need to be at!
