The blackened red snapper at Safe Harbor Seafood Market and Restaurant in Jacksonville FL, is the Klay Thompson of your starting line-up. It’s an all-star meal at a fairly reasonable price (Roughly 18,000,000 for the 2018 season). This snapper is a fantastically prepared and well-seasoned piece of fish. It’s so consistently good, that you forget how truly great it is until you haven’t had it for a while (maybe because of a thumb injury). You forget that this fish scored 60 points in 29 minutes against the Indiana Pacers. Have I took the Klay Thompson analogy too far? Back to the fish. The snapper is well-seasoned, but not to the point of making the fish indistinguishable. The firm but slightly sweet meat comes through with each bite. The fish outshines the side-dishes of the meal, which are good, but they’re just standard fish market staples. The meal comes with crinkle-cut fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw (not-pictured). Safe Harbor Seafood Market and Restaurant is one of the best seafood restaurants in the Jacksonville area. They’re open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
