Thanasis Deli is a hole in the wall deli / cafe in the Richmond district of San Francisco. I stopped here on a bike ride through the city. Not high on street appeal, but the sandwiches inside are incredible. It's a Greek Deli so everything on the menu with that theme. Here are some of the sandwich options: Athena's Owl, Homer's Odyssey, Demeter's Torch, etc. Today I went with Aladdin's Travel. It comes with cracked pepper turkey, pepper jack cheese, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, hot sauce, and their special mustard. I thought I would eat half and then resume riding. Every bite was just too tasty! I ended up eating the whole thing. Its a great place for a quick lunch stop.
