Miami is a city full of bigtime bites left and right - you just have to know where to look. Well, if you’re in the mood for a taco, look no further than Caja Caliente. If you’re not looking for it, you could easily miss this place. It’s looks kind of like a makeshift set-up off the side of the road, a little bit off the beaten path in between neighborhoods in Miami, but it is worth plugging into your GPS, trust me. I sampled a few things on the menu (all really good), but the shrimp taco stood out amongst everything else. Not to be confused with a street taco (or a ‘two-biter’), this is a larger 7oz. tortilla, that includes three jumbo shrimp (perfectly grilled) on a bed of pico de gallo and avocado, topped with ‘special sauce.’ Special, indeed. This is one of the best tacos I’ve had in recent memory. The overall flavor is off the charts!
