How is it possible this is the first review of any dish from Ava Gene’s when so many fellow Big Time Bite scouts have recommended the restaurant to me.
I’m delighted to do the honors.... they have a house special nightly. Monday night was meatball so that’s what I went with. We ate so many delicious things prior to our entrees but the entree was definitely was the star.
The meatballs were tender and I should’ve asked what they were but I was too busy devouring to ask. Served with fusilli pasta, a tomato based sauce & ricotta. The sauce had a little kick to it. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned & the pasta was cooked al dente.
I could eat this dish over & over & over.
