21 Shanghai House is a little restaurant just south of the center of Chinatown and is known for its soup dumplings. These delicate pouches of broth and pork meatballs were awesome. After taking a little nibble and slurping up the broth I was really surprised by the intensity and depth of the meaty flavor of the broth. And the meat inside was very tender. Sometimes I find the meat can be dry or mealy at places that churn out dumplings in high quantities, but that was absolutely not the case here. I'm still figuring out the best way to eat these to maximize broth consumption while not burning my mouth, but I have no regrets about my trip to 21 Shanghai House.
