who seek is a new Korean dessert spot located in Chantilly, VA just west of DC. They serve mainly sweet dessert dishes with a focus on different textures and flavors. No dessert speaks more so to this focus than the Matcha (green tea powder) Snowflake. The base layer of this dessert is several scoops of creamy, cold vanilla flavored ice cream. This layer is topped with an inch of shaved, flaky ice and a scoop of matcha green tea ice cream to round it out. Then the fun starts with the addition of a matcha macaroon, vanilla wafer, chocolate cookie, matcha poke sticks and a slice of original cheesecake all haphazardly placed throughout. Each additional dessert piece providing its own texture and flavors. The crispy wafer against the smooth cheesecake. The crunchy sweet chocolate cookie and matcha poke sticks with the brittle goodness of the macaroon. Combined with the melt in your mouth shaved ice and creamy ice cream scoops make this dessert is a must try. Oh and don’t forget that they sift a generous amount of matcha powder on top of everything to make sure you don’t miss any matcha flavors when digging in.
