Seven Lives is an awesome dive spot in Toronto's Kensington Market District. There are several cool little restaurants in the neighborhood that we stuck our heads into, and I think Seven Lives was our favorite. They have a long list of both traditional and more unique tacos. I went with the carnitas and it did not disappoint.The pork itself was tender but had a little crunch on the outside from the flat top. Standard fresh toppings with a really bright green salsa on top. We were grazing around the neighborhood so we only tried the carnitas and it was surprisingly big - definitely a step up from your average street taco in size as well as flavor. We got there right when it opened at noon and it was already jam packed, and apparently stays that way through closing at 9pm. Cash only.
