Wouldn’t say I’m a huge bagel guy, but after trying Owen’s Bagels upon recommendation, I will safely put this place in my rotation. I didn’t know what to order as their menu has quite a variety of options. I love avocado & hummus so I went with the Marley and Me consisting of: hummus, green peppers, black olives, onions, banana peppers, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and avocado. Sounds like a lot, but they somehow condense it all into one bagel sandwich. You can also customize your own bagel. I love how they steam their bagels here (hot/soft), quite different than the standard toasted style bagels (crunchy/crispy) we’re all accustomed to. These bagels are pretty small so I’d advise you order two. If it wasn’t for the recommendation, I would never see myself visiting here, ordering a bagel sandwich. I’m thankful for the intro because I am now a fan. Give it a try and mix things up a bit, this little local bagel shop is delightful.
