Grass-Fed Beef Burger at Damn the Weather in Seattle, WA. I haven’t eaten a lot of burgers made from grass-fed beef, so I was excited to try this burger at Damn the Weather, a bar/food establishment that was featured in Bon Appetit Magazine. The grass-fed beef had a slightly different taste about it compared to regular beef that I can’t exactly put my finger on, but it was absolutely terrific - cooked a perfect medium rare, very fresh and juicy from the first bite to the last. The brioche bun was soft and warm. Plenty of bacon accompanied the burger, along with sour pickles and a tasty mushroom aioli, both of which gave the burger a unique taste but were proportioned just right so they didn’t overpower the burger itself. The french fries it came with were also excellent - fried in chicken fat with skin on. I was on my second lunch of the day, so unfortunately I didn’t try any other dishes, but I will definitely be back!! Open for both lunch and dinner as well as late night.
