Hamburger Cookies, as I call them. Amelie’s French Bakery has some good ones. My flavors (ranked in order): birthday cake, pistachio, s’mores, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. You cannot go wrong with birthday cake flavoring in any form. It was the densest hamburger cookie out of them all and I loved it. I’m glad I got two of them as they were my favorite. Pistachio tasted nothing like a pistachio. It was the perfect subtle sweet cookie that is just so pretty to look at. This is one of the most popular sells at Amelie’s. S’mores was more chocolatey and it was missing the marshmallow in the middle. I was hoping for the campfire style s’mores with your chocolate, marshmallow, and most importantly, the graham cracker. If they decided to go with a marshmallow cream filling and somehow mimic a graham cracker taste, this would become an instant all-star. Cinnamon Toast Crunch - the classic childhood favorite, morning cereal before school. This hamburger cookie contained chocolate in the middle, which threw me off because I don’t recall my bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with 2% milk have any chocolate flavoring. They would of done better playing it safe going with a vanilla based creme instead (with cinnamon?). Nonetheless, the crunchy cinnamon on the outside and softness on the inside made this a decent hamburger cookie. Becca was very funny and friendly in helping us pick out our hamburger cookies. Good energy in this very cool, unique cafe that’s open 24 hours a day.
