Some say that Hija de Sanchez in Copenhagen's meatpacking district make some of the best taco's in the world. I'm inclined to agree. Though I've never been to Mexico, but still have had tacos from London to L.A. and these surely are the best I've had. The "Al Pastor" taco with spit-roasted pork and grilled pineapple is the single best taco I've ever had - hands down. The carnitas was great as well and the fried chicken one, dispite being my least favorite, was delicious and insanely spicy. But what it all comes down to - the tortillas, they're made in-house with fresh masa and they're incredible. Rosario Sanchez owner of Hija is a former pastry chef at world famous Noma and the attention to detail shows. All though the tacos are simple they're authenticly made with stellar precision. A must eat while in Copenhagen.
Note: They change the menu everyday, so you might not get to try these exact three tacos.
