03/16/19 Upon moving to Dallas, my first priority was finding an authentic taco spot. Tacos La Banqueta was exactly what I was looking for. They have a variety of tacos, almost all of which my wife and I tried in our first visit. All of them were bigtime, and rather than doing a few separate posts for different tacos, I figured I'd lump them all together because they are all worth ordering, and on the whole made for an All-Star experience. My wife and I got the steak, pastor pork, chorizo, suadero, and cabeza tacos. Probably my favorite was the chorizo - perfectly spiced, not too liquidy, and lots of crisp little bits from the flat top. All the tacos come with cilantro and onions and on corn tortillas. Cannot recommend this place highly enough for some yummy, no-frills tacos. Each taco is $1.50, so you can fill up for cheap. And it is open from 9am to 11pm everyday except Sunday, when it is closed.
