Ivar's is synonymous with Seattle. Mostly known for its casual seafood bars, Ivar's also has three full-service waterfront view restaurants in the city. Today I took some friends to Gas Works Park on Lake Union and then we walked less than a mile up Northlake Way to Waterway 15 and Ivar's Salmon House. We sat by the window and the view of Lake Union here is incredible. I went with the Blackened Rockfish Tacos and they were everything I anticipated. Spicy blackened Pacific rockfish, cilantro-cabbage slaw, chipotle-lime taco sauce, mango salsa, flour tortillas, house-made tortilla chips with pico de gallo on the side. Both healthy and delicious while looking over Lake Union.
