Tasty grilled shrimp tacos from Fuel Charleston, a Caribbean style restaurant in an old gas station. The vibe of the restaurant was really cool and laid back, with an open patio and live music, as well as a lot of garage doors that kept it breezy and casual. Tacos had perfectly cooked shrimp paired with a fresh tomatillo salsa, tomato relish, and créme fraîche. Had a good amount of spice but didn't have overpowering heat. Sweet potato fries were perfectly fried and were topped with sugar, which was a surprisingly delicious combination. Also highly recommend going around Happy Hour to get their taco fries (fries seasoned with taco seasoning and covered in queso carne) too! Can't wait to come back.
