I love a good jambalaya and Top Of The Hill delivered on this hit. Shrimp, pulled chicken & Andouille sausage tossed with creamy risotto, onions, tomatoes & roasted okra. The okra was the star of the show, absolutely appropriate for this bowl. I loved the risotto rice too and wish they would of put double the portion as the base. With a bowl this size, the proper play is to fill it out some more. Especially with this being a wet style jambalaya and how nicely the risotto soaks into the broth. Never had a wet style jambalaya until here, and normally the jambalaya dishes I’ve ordered in past came with pasta. The thing I love about jambalaya is the jumble of ingredients, and ever since the first day I tried this, I believed it’s pronounced “jumble-aya” for that reason. Could be way off, but I’ll stick with it.
