08/18/19 The Magnolia Farmers Market is on 33rd and West McGraw in Seattle every Saturday from 10-2 pm. By far the most interesting food option is the Veggie Quesadilla from the Patty Pan Cooperative. Patty Pan does not have their own brick and mortar restaurant but specializes in farmers markets, catering events, and providing goods to local markets like PCC. They also sell tamales at the Farmers Market but the Quesadilla is their signature item. You will have to wait in a small line but it is worth the reward. Its simple but super unique and tasty. The vegetables (local and organic) are a seasonal mix full of color. Today they included some diakon (japanese radish) which was new for me. The veggies are topped with Tillamook cheese and folded into a house made whole wheat tortilla. They are grilled and pressed to perfection. Its $8 for a whole quesadilla and $5 for a half. You will want the whole and you will be going back for more.
