After spending the day walking through the beautiful Nara Park, we found this small sushi restaurant tucked away on a small street nearby. The space is small and unassuming, but the owners greeted us with warm smiles. There is a nice selection of sashimi and grilled dishes. I chose the Ootoro Tekkadon Daburu - two generous layers of fatty bluefin tuna separated by layers of delicious sushi rice. The fresh slices of marbled pink fish melt in your mouth and tastes amazingly fresh. If you get the chance, stop by this small shop and enjoy their amazing food!
