This crazy looking creature is actually very yummy! At Taiyaki NYC, they are customizing the traditional Japanese dessert with your favorites ice cream flavors and toppings. My unicorn setup was vanilla ice cream topped with sprinkles and unicorn ears and a horn. The Taiyaki was filled with a scoop of red bean paste in the tail for a nice finish after enjoying the ice cream. The soft, eggy pastry complements the ice cream perfectly!
