Unagi is a traditional dish in Japan that starts with filet of eel that is brushed with soy sauce and slowly grilled over a flame. This technique is similar to what you would find at izakayas and add a wonderful smokiness to the eel. The finished product is soft, flaky and bursting with savory flavor. The rice and side dishes perfectly complement this dish. The restaurant itself is very traditional and you can find four locations around Tokyo. This is the best unagi you will find in the world! Definitely BigTime!
