Another tiny, intimate arrangement at this creperie where I got adventurous. Went foie gras and had no idea what it was, but it rang a bell. Wish I didn't Google it after ordering and waited till after I crushed it, but oh well, it was actually tasty. This crepe didn't come filled, but instead came dressed on top with foie gras, tomatoes, lettuce, nuts, fig jam, and honey. The fig jam was big time and I could of used a little more of that. Foie gras had a cream/cheese texture and I'm not sure how to describe the taste, but it was definitely not like chicken, that's for sure. It's fatty duck liver that's been processed and force fed corn through tubes. Doesn't sound appealing, but if you didn't know about that, you'd think it tastes pretty good, trust me. This was my first time trying it, and supposedly it's really expensive in some parts of the world, and banned in others. I was overseas, so I had to try it and I liked it. Also, had a chocolate banana crepe with ice cream for dessert which sat just right. Waitresses here were very pleasant people. Merci.
