Melfi’s is a small restaurant just outside of downtown Charleston, specializing in Italian food. The menu has a great mix of appetizers, pastas, and pizza, all of which are delicious. The best dish by far is the mafalde bolognese dish. The pasta is a fun ribbon shape that soaks up the sauce well. The bolognese is made with pork and veal and the dish is topped with a ton of Parmesan cheese, making it extra creamy and tasty. By far one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had, cannot be missed if you’re looking for a nice meal in Charleston.
