Good old traditional style cheeseburger. Something about this really hit. It’s so simple, nothing crazy here, yet there was a special taste to it. A really solid saltiness. I became an instant fan first bite. The restaurant itself is very old school and carries the vintage style McDonald’s structure inside and out. It’s a family run business serving customers since 1975. I bet they even had the 15 cents for a hamburger sign attached to their large outdoor signage back in the day just like the Golden Arches had. Staff was incredible, and I believe Zack’s son was the one who helped me order my first cheeseburger (definitely won’t be my last). “Same family standards since 1975”, he said, as he took my debit card standing behind the counter with surrounding glass window barriers which felt like I was at a will call box office. No bathrooms inside, you’ll have to venture out to the back of the building. Old school as it gets, and they don’t plan on updating anytime soon. If you’re into these retro restaurants, this is a must visit. Yes, their burgers are really that good too.
