08/27/20 Another fiery flame dish from my favorite Chinese restaurant, the cumin lamb ranks up there as one of Lam’s best entrees. The lamb meat was exceptionally tasty and the cumin spice added a strong savory flare. The lamb reminded me of Korean styled pork that my mom used to always make, but also gave me food thoughts of this beef dish I’ve had before too. For those wondering what this lamb meat tastes like, no it’s not chicken, I’d say it’s right in between those two of the pork & the beef. I thoroughly enjoyed all the mixed vegetables that accompanied the “bless me” portions of the lamb. This dish is sauced up to the max and every bit of it is super savory. If you’re into it, I’d recommend ordering a sweet entree in addition like their sesame chicken (my favorite poultry item) to really offset the T-Buds and send them wired back and forth. Game time enhancement right there, playing both ends of the floor with a little offense/defense action. Despite the ongoing pandemic, I can still count my blessings in being able to still enjoy some good authentic Chinese takeout and pickup to-go pizza right next door at Bisonte. Crazy coincidence that two of my favorite local restaurants are next door neighbors, literally side by side right next to each other. They’re one business door down in the same shared plaza building. There’s no chance these two will permanently shut down due to COVID-19 on my watch, even if I have to single handedly attempt to keep them in business myself.
