One of my most enjoyable meals eating out is some good barbecue and The Smoke Pit wins on all levels. I call this the sweet platter: burnt ends, smoked wings in southern sweet sauce, St. Louis pork ribs, sweet potato casserole, banana pudding, and last but not least the cornbread. Normally a no bev type of guy, but for this meal, yes, as you may guess correctly, I went sweet tea. After all, I’m a big time sweets guy, so why wouldn’t I go this route. This sweet platter was too good to be true. I savored this the entire time, not wanting it to disappear on me. The burnt ends were my favorite. Juicy and chewy and some pieces had the fat hanging on them. Tons of flavorful bites on this platter. Huge fan of the food here and their menu. Can’t wait to go back.
