Le Cinq is my favorite restaurant in the world. The dining room is opulent. The service is very professional yet warm. The chef, Christian Le Squer, is one of the greatest chefs in the world having garnered 3 Michelin stars at his previous restaurant, Ledoyen, and also at Le Cinq. I normally don't like sweetbreads but when it is executed to perfection then I suddenly become its number one fan. This is a simple preparation---the sweetbreads are skewered and served with a fresh herb sauce---so moist and flavorful.
