Gabagool was originally a food cart. Last year it became a brick-and-mortar casual restaurant in the underserved St. John's neighborhood of Portland. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the dishes. What can be more straightforward than spaghetti and meatballs? The pasta is housemade and the meatballs moist. I think every neighborhood deserves a place like Gabagool.
