Urdaneta is a truly fun place to grab some Spanish pintxos/tapas. Service is super-friendly and the food is fun, and overall, well-executed. The chef-owner is Javiar Canteras and the front of the house is overseen by his wife Jael. I am used to eating corn dogs at carnivals. This version was much, much better than those. The only one that might be better can be found a few blocks away at Expatriate from Naomi Pomeroy. Instead of a hot dog this is a house-made Basque chorizo----so tasty! So if one wants corn dogs, come to NE Portland near Alberta and Killingsworth; you won't be sorry!
