Poogan's Porch is a great southern restaurant with a diverse menu, but nothing beats the classic grilled filet mignon. The filet is incredibly tender, with a great blend of flavor that is desired by all steak lovers. Almost as important as the filet are the sides. No matter what you get at Poogan's Porch, you need to have indulge in their mashed potatoes, which are incredibly soft, creamy, and tasty. Also pictured are the blue cheese and ricotta dumplings, a fantastic side dish for cheese lovers, which have a perfect balance of ricotta and blue cheese leaving the consumer to enjoy the dish without being overpowered by the blue cheese. With this meal, it's difficult to even pick its best component, since it’s just a holistically great meal that can be enjoyed over and over again.
