The Beagle's Breakfast at Jack Beagles in Charlotte, NC is, in my opinion, the best southern-style breakfast you can find in Charlotte. Found in a dive bar known more for its cheesesteaks and mac and cheese, the Beagle's Breakfast can only be ordered for brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-1pm. Two eggs made to order (one of the only places in Charlotte that knows how to cook an over-hard egg), three large strips of juicy bacon (or sausage), and perfectly fried and seasoned home fries accompany your choice of toast or biscuit. Lot of different ways to go with this balanced breakfast, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Pro tip: add a side of the sausage gravy for your biscuit. It will be the best $.50 cents you'll ever spend.
