The multi-course kaiseki menu at 2 Michelin starred Kadowaki is one of the most expensive in the city. But I was impressed by the execution and the quality of the ingredients used which justifies the price. This seemingly simple dish of matsutake and snapper was so luscious and pristine in flavors. I tend to gravitate to more complex dishes, but I was very impressed by this dish and my overall meal at Kadowaki.
