One of my favorite burgers in PDX right now is The umeboshi burger from Ash Bar. Their original burger was truly atrocious. One of the worst burgers I've ever eaten. It is gratifying to see it improve with this burger that had miso in the meat and a squash slaw with umeboshi. The fries were crunchy and quite tasty. Even better is the nine dollar price tag. The only negative is that the burger would be better cooked at medium rare instead of medium. And a week later I got it at medium rare and it was better.
