This Russian Bakery on Balboa Street in San Francisco was quickly a family favorite. It's been around since 1953 so it's passed the test of time. They have a street side presence and serve both breakfast and lunch with with a variety of unique options. Lots of healthy options accompanied by several calorie killing options. This custard filled strawberry croissant no doubt falling on the latter side of things. The flaky crust of the croissant sprinkled with powdered sugar just amazing. The custard filling combined with fresh strawberries both sweet and creamy and also filling. Pretty rich such that one can probably not eat the whole thing but the perfect dessert for the family to share.
