In Charlotte for the week and looking for more good healthy eating options. Blackfinn just down the street from the Hornets arena and a place I had been once previously with my good friend Matt McKay. Turns out they have several good salad options. Today I went with the Goat Cheese, Beet & Berry Salad and had them add some grilled chicken for my much needed protein. The salad was overall very good with great combination of flavors. Mixed greens with goat cheese, roasted beets, fresh strawberries, sliced apples, spiced pecans, dried apricots, sunflower seeds, covered with a honey vinaigrette dressing. My only complaint was that I would prefer the beets to be cooked a little longer. A little crunchy for my preference. Great flavor and overall the salad very good. Would definitely adding it to my rotation list when I am in Charlotte.
