Bahn Thai is the oldest thai food restaurant in Seattle and has been around since 1984, so they must be doing something right. It's tough to go wrong here, but when I noticed their house fried rice, I couldn't help myself. I'm a big fried rice fan in general, but the yellow curry powder is what caught my eye and what led me to order this bigtime dish. As you can tell from my awesome picture, this dish also includes some egg, pineapples, onions, carrots, tomatoes, and green onions. The "medium" heat level was perfect: spicy enough, but not overpowering. Additionally, you'd have to be pretty hungry to finish this portion by yourself. This was just a part of our meal (also ordered the basil beef, which was great) and we couldn't finish it. Luckily, thai food seems to taste even better out of the fridge the next day! Lastly, their thai iced tea was a little on the sweet side, but a very nice complement to the meal. Vet move: worried about parking in Queen Anne? Bahn Thai has you covered! They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant that's reserved for their customers.
