I didn't think it was possible for a BLT to qualify as a bigtime bite. Kindred proved me wrong. Their seasonal Heirloom Tomato BLT ruined any future BLTs for me for the rest of my life. It was so much more than the "bacon, lettuce, basil, mayonnaise" description on the menu. This sandwich was a thing of beauty. It was also so large, that they served the thing with a steak knife! My affinity for Kindred is well-documented on this site (I wrote up their bread, for crying out loud), and this sandwich is just one of many bigtime bites on their ever-changing menu. Make sure to check out this oversized, messy, colorful, and incredibly flavorful sandwich before they take it off the menu - and get it with a side of frites - those are (in the least-surprising news of the day) bigtime, too!
