09/12/17 Sometime you're in the low country and all your friends are hyped about oysters or shrimp and grits but you're not in the mood anything from the ocean. Leon's Fine Poultry & Oysters makes it apparent in their name and small menu that you still got land animal options. You could get some fried chicken or go the route I did, and order the chicken sandwich. Skin is crispy but light, meat is thick but moist, the bread fluffy to where if doesn't feel like a barb overload and they use old fashion duke mayo with the best type of pickle (imho) bread and butter pickles. If you can't find that one food chain that makes a similar sandwich near by stop by here and grab one. The sandwich is one that is you should work into your rotation as a regular if you're In the area.
