Grandma’s Bibimbap at Hibiscus in Charlotte, NC. Stumbled upon this place because they are open late on Fridays and Saturdays. They had really good service, so I wanted to write up a report on them. I don't have much experience with Korean food, so the waitress steered me towards the Bibimbap. They serve it in a hot, stone bowl and told me to stir it from the bottom of the bowl up, so you get the crispy rice off the sides of the bowl. They use ribeye beef here, so I felt like it was pretty good quality. I added some chili sauce, which gave the dish some good flavor. They also have a number of Thai food options here. So if you are looking for a late night spot for Korean or Thai food, then this is a solid option.
