Monk fish? Liver? Sounds like a dish off fear factor. If you're one who prefer popular cuts of meat and would like to try a dish that uses other parts of the animal; You'll be pleasantly surprised as I was on my first bite of this dish. It has a buttery-hamburger like texture, but as you chew the flavors similar to a ground pork meatball hits your buds. Wondering where that came from you'll take another bite noticing the aromatic scallions, earthy carrot purée and salty-tang of the panzu. After awhile you'll be asking the people at your table if they're done eating it bc deep down in side you know, you're going back in for more. It is two small patties for $7 a great starter appetizer to accompany the order all stars you'll be order at Brush Sushi Izakaya who is open a variety of hours, check it before you head out.
