Leading up to my trip to Charleston all I could hear about was FIG and how Big Time it was, and let me tell you it definitely lived up to the hype and then some. On a menu loaded with seasonal seafood options I decided to go with Brasstown Beef. The steak came cooked perfectly and was prepared with red bibb, some delicious crispy shallots and was topped with a Bordelaise sauce. Every bite was moist and the steak came sliced thin allowing the sauce to spread evenly through out the beef. If you are in Charleston and looking for a change of pace from all of the terrific seafood the Brasstown Beef at FIG is the way to go.
