The Spicy Crispy Beef was the first dish that was brought out, and it got my meal off to a very solid start. Beef is probably the one type of meat I'd never had as a crispy snack, and it was nowhere near as tough as I expected. The sauce was more tangy than spicy, though it carried a slight kick to it. At $18, it's a little on the pricey side for a shared appetizer, but between three of us, there was plenty for us each to get our fill — and it's RedFarm, so going in, you should anticipate having to open your purse strings. That said, it was a simple yet strong opening act and helped whet our appetites for the plates to come.
