This is a little bite of heaven! The first thing that catches your eye as the chef presents this is the gold leaf that garnishes the sushi. It makes you wonder what it tastes like and what the texture will feel like. Then you smell the black truffle, the rich aroma floats through your nose and teases your taste buds. You feel the anticipation grow, like a Steph Curry three-pointer as it flies through the air. When you finally give in and place it in your mouth, the mix of flavors touch all of the taste buds on your tongue. The fatty tuna melts like butter while the sushi rice provides sweet and sour notes. The truffle hits the umami receptors and the bite really explodes. This was one of my all-time favorite bites and a very memorable experience!
