The Dumpling Lady is a food truck that operates out of Charlotte a few days per week. Today some friends and I walked the 7 or 8 blocks at our lunch break arriving just in time to grab a few things to eat before she moved on for the day. The Dumpling Lady relatively new to Charlotte and she brings with her some seriously authentic noodle and dumpling dishes. Today I had the Dan Dan Noodles along with the pork dumplings. The Dan Dan noodles definitely tested my upper range on spicy foods. Minced beef cooked with chili oil and sichuan pepper topped with scallions all served over a bed of noodles. So tasty but also full of fire. I admittedly broke out in a little sweat but every bite very much worth it. All for under $10.
