Stanley Marketplace is awesome - it's this cool concept on the outskirts of Denver that houses retail, office space and FOOD. Some of the best food at Stanley can be found at food-truck-turned-brick-and-mortor Denver Biscuit Co. Shoutout to my good friends JennyJames for showing me this bigtime spot! I'm a breakfast sandwich kind of guy and "The Ellsworth" gave me everything I needed (and then some) in a breakfast sandwich. If you couldn't already tell from looking at the picture, this isn't your typical b-sand. This is a non-plastic fork and knife and extra napkins kind of thing. For all I know, there may be plenty of other bigtime options at this place, but when I saw the words "buttermilk fried chicken," "local Colorado honey," "stone-ground mustard," and "housemade pickles," I didn't need to spend any additional time reading the menu. And if you were wondering - yes, I added bacon and a fried egg...which only made everything better. The biscuit tasted homemade, the chicken was crispy and not too greasy and I enjoyed the overall combination of savory (pickles and mustard) and sweet (honey). All in all, a solid RT dish!
