I was at Resident Culture brewery in Plaza Midwood this weekend and saw the Improper Pig food truck parked out front. The truck's forte is BBQ pork, so I went with the BBQ nachos. The plate consists of homemade potato chips topped with pimento cheese and literal mounds of pulled pork. I ended up sharing with four other people and we all got our share. Very good snack to munch on while enjoying the brewery. The truck also has six signature sauces that you can put on your meal, and the go-to for me is the spicy hoisin. I loved this sauce because it was actually spicy. I feel like sometimes things are called spicy but don't actually deliver meaningful heat. This sauce did not disappoint! Perfect sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. All told, the nachos were solid and filling and the sauce was legitimately great.
