What could possibly be better than a casual stroll on a sunny day through Golden Gate Park? Eating soft soft serve while on that stroll. Adjacent to the museums, the Japanese Tea Garden, and the Botanical Garden inside the park, Twist and Dip's truck isn't your typical, run-of-the-mill Costco-esque soft serve. This is what I would call an 'elevated' soft serve experience. Everything is homemade, organic and the chocolate is fair trade. The entire menu looked good, so I asked the guy (the "scooper?" 🤷🏻♂️) and he recommended their namesake, the "Twirl and Dip," which is comprised of their vanilla-chocolate twirl soft serve, dipped in dark chocolate and finished with some seat salt. The dip quickly turned into a shell-like texture and paired with the sea salt, offered a nice dense crunch to balance out each bite of soft serve. If this doesn't get you craving ice cream, you may need to check your pulse. Being lactose-intolerant, I don't normally eat ice cream...but when I do, it's BIGTIME.
