Most of the time I eat steak while I’m in Dallas. This trip, I wanted to make sure I filed at least one scouting report to give an option other than steak.
I sat at the chef’s counter & had a glass of wine waiting for my friend to arrive. This gave me a chance to see what the kitchen was turning out & to ask the bartenders their favorites. I saw the deconstructed lasagna go out almost every ticket & both bartenders had recommended it so that is what I ordered & it did not disappoint!
Ricotta lines the bottom of the bowl followed by a house made three meat red sauce (beef, veal & pork), house made noodles, spicy Italian meatballs & fresh mozzarella to top it off.
This is a melt in your mouth lasagna. The meat is so tender & the garlic & other spices in the sauce & meatballs are evident but not over powering. It was the perfect blend. Highly recommend if you’re in Dallas & not in the mood for a steakhouse!
