Iroriya has been on my list of restaurants to try and when I finally had a chance it did not disappoint. They offer Japanese robata cuisine, which is charcoal grilled dishes in a variety of sizes like tapas. The charcoal grill gives an amazing smoky flavor to the meat, seafood or vegetables they cook over it. Pork chops can be a bit dry if not cooked with care. Iroriya got this dish just right. The smoke and pork flavors combined beautifully and the tenderness was amazing. The tenderness of the meat was complimented by the crisp outer layer. The dish was served pre-cut which was nice for sharing. There was a creamy mustard that accompanied the dish but I found the pork was enjoyable without it. This restaurant has great service and can book up quickly so be sure to hop on open table to secure your spot. Enjoy!
